Gottfried Schüll

Patent Strategy, Licensing & Enforcement

Gottfried brings decades of experience in patent litigation and licensing to the selection and development of patent opportunities. A Senior Partner at COHAUSZ & FLORACK, he has worked extensively on standard-essential patents, including the MPEG LA and VIA LA licensing programmes.

His long-standing collaboration with experienced IP litigators and technical specialists informs his understanding of what gives a patent position negotiating strength.

At B&M, he guides patent strategy and the development of the technical and legal foundations for commercialisation.

Dr Jan Schaefer

Jan brings more than 30 years of experience in banking and financial services, with a focus on finance, controlling and risk. His work has included senior responsibilities at a major international financial institution and advisory assignments involving private equity acquisitions.

He understands how professional investors assess opportunities and what a sound financing structure needs to support.

At B&M, he leads the work on project economics, financing and risk, and the dialogue with investors and financing partners.

Joachim Löw

Joachim combines more than three decades in business development, marketing and management with a decade of senior responsibility in German and international law firms. His roles include COHAUSZ & FLORACK, Fieldfisher Germany, Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein and BDH Rechtsanwälte.

Earlier entrepreneurial and managing director roles in media, publishing and communications shaped his approach to building businesses and bringing people together.

At B&M, he leads business development and operations, develops commercial relationships and coordinates the work needed to turn opportunities into projects.

Dr Achim Schüller

Achim brings extensive experience in organisational development and professional services. His career includes senior roles at KPMG and A.T. Kearney and membership of the management team at access AG. He has worked as an independent organisational consultant since 2003.

With a background in psychology and economics, he understands how specialist expertise translates into effective teams and working structures.

At B&M, he supports the development of the organisation, specialist capacity and the structures needed to deliver projects as the business grows.
