What we do
A partner from opportunity to agreement.
Our role is to lead the commercial development of selected patent assets. We bring together the patent owner’s knowledge, technical and legal specialists, financial expertise and relevant licensing networks. Together, we assess how the patented technology is used, the strength of the rights and the commercial opportunity. B&M coordinates the work and prepares the opportunity for discussions with potential licensees or buyers.
The outcome may be a licence agreement, a sale of selected patents or a partnership in which the owner participates in the proceeds. We shape the approach around your objectives, including your existing licensing activities and the business relationships that matter to you. The terms of each collaboration are agreed individually. Our team’s experience in patent licensing and enforcement, finance and commercial development informs these decisions and the negotiations that follow.
Developing patent assets also requires capital. Financing forms part of our commercial assessment from the outset, alongside the resources needed and the potential proceeds from licensing or a sale. Our approach combines commercial resolve with responsible stewardship of patent rights and capital.
